Auto top up

How to turn on automatic wallet top ups from a saved card, change the amounts or the card, and what happens if a charge fails.

Auto top up adds money to the wallet from a saved card when the balance falls below a threshold. That way, campaigns are not paused for lack of money.

How to turn it on

  1. In “Billing”, in the “Auto top up” block, click “Switch on”.

  2. Fill in “When the balance is below” and “Top up to”. Under each field you can see how many days of ads the amount covers.

  3. Click “Switch on and pay” and make the first payment.

Auto top up starts working after the first payment, once the card is saved.

How to change it

“Edit amounts” changes the threshold and the target amount. The “Auto top up actions” menu has “Pause”, “Change card” and “Remove card”. While paused, the card and amounts are kept, and “Resume” turns everything back on.

If a charge fails

We try again the next day and send you an email. After three failed attempts in a row, auto top up is switched off and the card is removed.

If the bank asks you to confirm the charge, a “Confirm payment” button appears in the block. You need to confirm within three days, otherwise the attempt counts as failed.
